Reviews and Ratings
While the hotel offers an interesting experience swimming with dolphins, it appears to be struggling with maintenance and facilities. The location is great, very close to the beach, but the overall condition of the hotel falls short of expectations. The dining options leave something to be desired, and service can be hit or miss. It’s clear there is room for improvement across several areas.
Our stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The friendly staff and the experience of swimming with dolphins were highlights, but the cramped rooms and poor bathroom conditions were big letdowns. The location is an advantage with plenty of restaurants nearby, but it’s quite a hike to the beach. Overall, it seems like there’s room for improvement in terms of comfort and facilities.
I stayed at the Melka Excelsior Hotel for two nights with a large group. While the hotel grounds are well-kept and the pool area is beautiful, the check-in process was confusing, and the rooms, though basic, had issues like a bad smell. The dining didn't impress me, with a breakfast that lacked variety, but swimming with the dolphins was a highlight of my trip.
After a long drive, we checked into a massive Presidential Suite that offered a unique experience. The size of the room and bathroom was impressive, making it quite comfortable, though the dining options and breakfast didn't quite meet my expectations. Northern Bali has its charm, but I found the facilities a bit lacking, especially regarding animal interactions, which left me feeling uneasy. Overall, it provides decent value for the price you pay.
My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. While the staff was incredibly friendly and the dolphin experience was memorable, the condition of the rooms left much to be desired. The location felt isolated, and the dining options were very limited with subpar food. Overall, it was not worth the price we paid, given the lack of amenities and the state of the facilities.
